ATBO Appointed As Ambassador for 'Korea Forest Love Youth 2023'
On March 20, the rookie boy group ATBO was selected as public relations ambassador for "Korea Forest Love Youth 2023." The ceremony was held at the Forest Science Museum of the National Institute of Forest Science in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul.
ATBO member Ryu Junmin, whose birthday is the same day as Arbor Day, represented and expressed his impressions as the ambassador of the campaign during the appointment ceremony.

The rising boy band group ATBO debuted in 2022. It has 7 members: Jeong Sunghwan (lead vocals), Kim Yeonkyu (main vocals), Oh Junseok (main dancer), Won Bin (sub-vocals), Ryu Junmin (lead dancer), Bae Hyun Jun (lead rapper), and Seok Rakwon (lead dancer).
The group is under IST Entertainment, home to K-pop groups Apink, Weeekly, and THE BOYZ.
The group was formed through the survival show "THE ORIGIN- A, B, OR What?".
ATBO debuted with their song "Monochrome (Color)." Five months later, they won awards, such as "Rookie of the Year" at the 2022 Asia Model Awards, and "Focus Award" at the 2022 Asian Artist Awards.
In addition, during the 2022 Melon Music Awards, ATBO was chosen as "2022 Choice," representing as a notable new artist. It was also revealed that ATBO gained popularity with a global audience and an impressive presence as a rookie boy group.
The boy group released their 1st mini-album, "The Beginning: 開花." Aside from "Monochrome," the EP was released together with 5 other songs, "7ibe (Vibe)," "Graffiti," "High Five," "Wow," and "Run."
ATBO member Junseok wrote all the rap parts of the songs except for "Run."
Meanwhile, ATBO member Hyunjun helped with the lyrics of "Graffiti," "High Five," and "Wow."
Recently, ATBO appeared in JTBC's "Peak Time" as "Team 5:00". The group caught the organisers' attention in each episode due to their potential as a group.
