In an online community, IVE Liz became a hot topic once again due to her weight - but instead of criticism, people are praising her this time for THIS reason!
IVE Liz Stuns With Shining Visuals After Weight Loss
IVE conducted a surprise live broadcast to commemorate the release and success of their pre-released track, "Kitsch," on March 27. At the time, the members communicated with their fans, DIVEs. Due to their nonstop support to the track, it eventually ranked No. 1 on MelOn, the largest music-streaming platform in Korea.
Following the broadcast, IVE main vocalist Liz created a buzz after people noticed her prettier visuals after her claimed weight loss.
In a post, a DIVE wrote:
"Wow, Liz's visuals are coming back. She obviously lost some weight. You should watch the video, it was live-streamed (today)."
As soon as the article was uploaded, it amassed over 187k views, garnering about 37 upvotes.
People praised the singer for her noticeable weight loss, claiming that her beauty now stands out among members. They also explained that Liz is naturally a "stan-attractor," but she suddenly became controversial for not being able to manage her body after debut.
Liz was constantly bullied for her bigger frame and "swollen" face compared to other members, and it seems it pushed her to shed weight.

With this, DIVEs hoped that malicious commenters would finally appreciate the idol even more after getting slimmer, and appreciate not only her visuals but her impressive singing skills.
- "When I saw the video, I could only see Liz. She's pretty."
- "She's so pretty like a doll."
- "After watching 'Kitsch' MV, Liz really got prettier. My one-pick for this album is definitely Liz."
- "I hope she's always pretty and healthy."
- "I hope you succeed this time, you have a really pretty face, but it's a pity you got attacked a lot because you look fat."
IVE Heralds Much-Awaited Comeback in April
Meanwhile, IVE is heralding their much-anticipated return in April, about nine months since their last release.
The group will particularly drop their first full-length album "I've IVE" on April 10, and the album is expected to tell its full-fledged story based on the confidence gained from their achievements over the past year.
