10 Most Popular K-pop Brand Models March 2023: NewJeans, BTS, MORE!

For the month of March, the Korean Business Research Institute has announced their brand reputation rankings involving advertisement models.

The list is comprised of various celebrities and artists, who managed to achieve or maintain popularity through brand endorsements. As for coverage, the data gathered are derived from February 16 to March 16.

Regarding its deliberation, the Korean Business Research Institute examined the artists' in aspects such as media exposure, consumer participation, communication, and social values of brand models, to determine the score of their March brand reputation index.

Here are top 10 K-pop artists who managed to join the March 2023 model rankings!

1. NewJeans

On first place, NewJeans reigned the list with a brand reputation index of 1,696,456, topping over the March 2023 rankings.

According to the institute, high-ranking phrases regarding the group's keyword analysis included "ambassador," "collab" and "trend." Meanwhile their highest-ranking terms were comprised of words "positive," "likable," and "young."

For March, NewJeans has also become the newest ambassador for famous denim brand Levi's. Danielle, a group member, closed in a deal with Yves Saint Laurent Beauty, as the brand's newest global ambassador.

2. BTS

BTS claimed the No. 2 spot with a brand reputation index of 1,470,756, which indicated a 1.23 precent increase, surpassing their previous January brand model score. Moreover, several of its members have gone to secure affiliation with popular brands.

On March 3, Jimin of BTS, was selected as the newest ambassador for Tiffany & Co's. Afterwards, BTS's youngest member Jungkook, became the newest global ambassador for Calvin Klein and group leader RM for Bottega Veneta.

3. BLACKPINK

On third place, BLACKPINK secured the No. 3 spot, through a 0.46 percent increase, which led them to collect a total of 1,533,410 brand reputation index for March.

4. IU

In the institute's original list, IU ranked No. 7 with a brand reputation index of 838,720.

5. IVE

IVE secured their place on the list's No. 10, with a brand reputation index of 606,985.

6. SEVENTEEN

With a brand reputation index of 570,953, third generation boy group SEVENTEEN joined at No. 12 on the institute's list.

7. Kang Daniel

Kang Daniel gained a total of 543,813 for his March brand reputation index, placing at No. 13.

Cha Eun Woo of ASTRO secured a brand reputation index of 538,117, placing on the original list's No. 14.

9. TWICE

For March, iconic girl group TWICE collected a brand reputation index of 443,153, which placed them on the list's No. 17. Sana of TWICE was also chosen as the ambassador for cosmetic brand Espoir on March 6.

10. NCT

Lastly, we have NCT, who managed to gain a brand reputation index of 428,708 for March's brand model rankings. The group also placed No. 19 on the institute's list.
