On March 13, it was earlier announced that TWICE will finally embark on its new and fifth world tour, "READY TO BE" starting in April to July.

Among the countries that the nine-member group will visit is their very own, South Korea. According to initial announcements, the concert will be held for two days on April 15 and 16 at KSPO Dome in Songpa-gu, Seoul and is expected to meet about 14, 893 spectators.

This number is only applicable for its offline concert, as the 2nd day will be broadcasted as well through the Beyond LIVE platform, earning anticipation that more global fans will be able to witness the concert.

This concert will become TWICE's first time appearing in the same venue again after a year and four months since its fourth world tour, "III" in December 2021. Due to this, it is also expected that a lot of Korean fans, especially ONCEs (fandom) will go and meet the group.

But contrary to what people are expecting, the "FANCY" singers only sold 86.1% of their tickets, as of April 12. There were only three days left until the concert, but netizens began to wonder why the group haven't sold out their Seoul concert yet.

In the past, TWICE immediately sold all its tickets for its preceding Korean concerts in 2019 and 2021, just a few days after ticket sales.

As a result, internet users and media are speculating that TWICE is already in the phase where its popularity is declining in Korea. Recently, the nonet made a comeback with its new mini-album, "Ready To Be" and its title track, "SET ME FREE," yet it didn't do that well on Korean music charts, unlike their heyday, losing to current popular girl groups such as IVE and NewJeans.

However, the reason that they had low ticket sales due to "declining popularity" mustn't be the case as well. This is because in terms of fame, TWICE is continuously growing especially in the international market.

In fact, on March 24, TWICE sold out the tickets for its Los Angeles concert at SoFi Stadium, with a seating capacity of more than 70k. The girl group made history as the first K-pop girl group to achieve this. The ticket was also bought completely even before its concert date scheduled on June 10.

So, if TWICE can sell out a stadium with a 70k capacity, what's stopping Koreans to sell out a venue with about 15k seats?

Recently, international fans called out Korean ONCEs for hinting at their plan to boycott the concert.

Apparently, Korean fans were unhappy and frustrated that the girl group rarely promoted in the country despite the aforementioned album being a Korean comeback. Due to the decreasing Korean schedules and more promotions in the U.S., K-ONCEs decided to not support the group's Seoul concert.
