Following Ravi's withdrawal from VIXX due to violation of the military service act, Jellyfish Entertainment drops an update about the group, hinting at the future of the remaining members.
Ravi Becomes Second Member to Withdraw From VIXX Following Hongbin
While there are a lot of K-pop fans especially Starlights (fandom) waiting for the reunion of the second-gen boy group, it seems like a complete comeback became even more impossible following Ravi's departure from the team.
On April 11, Ravi was sentenced to two years in prison after breaking the military service act by faking he has epilepsy to evade active duty service.
On the same day, Ravi confirmed in an official statement that he forged his medical records to postpone his military service and apologized to everyone who has been hurt by him, especially his fans.

On top of this, he expressed his intention to withdraw from his group VIXX, saying:
"I decided to leave the team so that the VIXX members who were affected by my mistake would not suffer any more damage. I sincerely thank all the members for being with me for 11 years, and I sincerely hope that I will no longer cause them any more pain."
With this, Ravi became the second member to leave the team following Hongbin, who also left after causing controversy. As a brief context, the male idol was forced to leave his team after making controversial remarks about K-pop groups including SM Entertainment artists.
What Will Happen To VIXX? Jellyfish Entertainment Updates on Group
As only four members is remaining on the team, K-pop enthusiasts are showing concerns about what will happen to the group.
But VIXX's next move is not what people are expecting!
On April 13, a day after Ravi's withdrawal, Jellyfish Entertainment released an official statement that VIXX will hold a fan concert in Taiwan on April 29 for the second time.
In particular, the remaining members Leo, Ken and Hyuk excluding N initially held a concert in Taipei in March but due to popular demand, the trio will visit the country one more time, this time in Kaoshiung.
The "2023 VIXX Leo-Ken-hyuk Fan-Concert "ING: As Always" in Kaohsiung, Taiwan will take place on the 29th and they were already attracting the attention of what kind of stage will they show this time.
Despite Ravi and Hongbin's controversies, the member's sincere desire to give viewers spectacular performances surely touched fans. The trio is particularly gaining explosive fame in Japan and Taiwan.
With this move, Jellyfish is hinting at the re-organization of the group as a three-member group for now, as member N declined to promote with VIXX in the meantime to focus on his acting career.
Earlier in January, VIXX Leo-Ken-Hyuk started their schedule as a trio by unveiling a digital single, "Gonna Be Alright." When it was released, the song entered iTunes TOP10 in 13 countries, including the United States, Europe, and Asia. It also topped the iTunes KPOP chart in three countries: Spain, the Netherlands and Italy.
