As soon as the snippet of the show spread among fans, fans, especially MOOMOOs then looked back at how the group avoided the supposed painful event that the fandom didn't even want to imagine.

Starting when MAMAMOO debuted in 2014 with Mr. Ambiguous, the team despite not lacking the skills and talents wasn't able to dominate the K-pop industry that easily.

Unfortunately, aside from debuting during the heyday of top-tier second and third-gen groups, they also came from a small company that doesn't influence "BIG3."

In 2015 then, the team managed to establish a domestic success thanks to their sleeper hit, "Um Oh Ah Yeah." They build their name even more by joining, "Immortal Songs," which introduced them to mainstream fans. Despite this, the team is still isn't considered big or popular, not to mention that global fans still barely know them.

Based on Moonbyul, the team considered disbanding during their fourth album (release), which is its first full-length album, "Melting" in 2016.

The group with disbandment on their mind apparently gave their all in this album, and their efforts didn't go in vain!

Rather than the group's dissolution, the group met huge success through this album, such as its title track, "You're the Best" peaking at No.1 on the Korean music charts!

After two years, MAMAMOO also had their first music show trophy with this song and eight other wins from multiple broadcasts.

From then, MAMAMOO's fame just keep on rising— indeed a major "plot twist"!
