Student Narrates How EXO Chen Rescued Her From Terrifying Assault: 'He was a great person'

A student took to social media to thank EXO Chen, who she claimed had helped her get away from her perpetrators.

EXO Chen Becomes 'Hero' To Student Who Was Assaulted By Female Gang

In various online communities and social media platforms, EXO Chen's name has been going viral among K-pop fans and netizens for his bravery to rescue a student from a terrifying assault.

On May 13, a Twitter post is spreading like wildfire, claiming that idol had showcased heroism to a person in need.

In particular, the victim, who authored the post, explained that although she didn't want to share the story, she wanted to take the opportunity to thank EXO Chen, who became her savior from an assault that happened on May 11.

Based on her narration, it was 8:30 pm KST and she was on her way back home when a gang comprised of four female students, who attend the same school as her, assaulted and started beating her severely.

Fortunately, a man wearing black and mask came to her rescue and reprimanded the gang that what they were doing was wrong and that it was not right to hit anyone.

Although the gang warned him not to get involved and just mind his own business, the guy insisted on helping the victim and scared the four girls by telling them he would call the police.

After the assailants ran away, the man didn't leave the victim but helped her call her mom and teacher instead through her phone, informing them what happened and providing details of the incident.

Immediately after calling them, the victim's mother arrived and when the man finally took off his mask to make a 90-degree bow, they immediately recognized that he was actually a famous celebrity, and it was none other than EXO Chen!

In the post, the victim shared her impression of the idol and thanked him for saving her.

"He was a great person. Thank you for saving me and I'm really glad that you cheered me up."

When the post was shared, supporters of Chen, especially EXO-Ls (fandom), commended the "Growl" singer's heroism. The fandom is proud that they "stan the right person."

Korean fans also lauded his act, as not everyone in Korea would respond like that after witnessing an assault. People are truly touched by Chen's beautiful and angel-like heart.

In addition to this, EXO-Ls are also sending their warm messages and support to the victim.

Apparently, the victim is an international student who recently moved to Korea with her family. After receiving lots of love from people, she updated web users about her recent status and apologized for posting the story late because she had to recuperate after getting beaten badly, not to mention the mental trauma she went through.

The victim attested to everyone that she is completely fine now and she will seek justice by holding a bullying disciplinary hearing involving the four students.
