EXO Baekhyun Shares Desire To Open Socks Group Order With Eris– Why Is He Getting Hate For It?
EXO Baekhyun met the negative gaze of some internet users and haters.
As a context, the whole "drama" started when an EXO-L (fan) showed interest in Baekhyun's white socks that he often uses.
The fan asked:
"Where do you buy these white socks? I've never seen such good white socks."
Baekhyun then responded:
"I bought 100 of these, but I don't know the information."
However, after leaving an answer that he got the socks for a cheaper price, fans started asking him to resell them and said, "Let's try G.O. (group order)!"
Baekhyun who saw the idea accepted it and excitedly planned it with fans, aiming to buy it for the cheapest price possible. In fact, the male idol expressed his seriousness after having her stylist look for the purchasing company.
As the fandom hoped that the plan will gradually be materialized with amazing momentum, Baekhyun updated that he already asked about the group order through his manager and they were just finalizing the order volume.

Unfortunately, this beautiful relationship between the male idol and fandom was viewed maliciously by haters and some netters, claiming that Baekhyun was trying to make some profits through the goods G.O.

As internet users who did not properly grasp the situation in such a rare situation continued to spread absurd claims about Baekhyun, the male idol took to Bubble, a fandom-communicating platform himself to defend himself.
The "Bambi" singer directly explained the misunderstanding about his supposed group order and penned a lengthy message saying:
"I'm not trying to make money by using EXO-Ls. [...] The socks group order, too, it just happened that we ended up talking about that in a conversation. I thought, 'It would be great if Eris who wants to buy my favorite socks can buy it cheaply, too!"
"Honestly, I was prepared for such negative responses. But it didn't matter. As long as you buy it cheaply because of me, that's enough. I also asked the socks company to give us the cheapest price since I don't have to pay anything."
