Big Planet Made, home to VIVIZ and Soyou, was pointed to be the "external forces" that prompted EXO Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin to sue SM Entertainment. What happened?
SM Entertainment Releases Official Statement Regarding EXO-CBX Contract Termination
Amid EXO-CBX's contract termination and lawsuit against SM Entertainment, the company released its side and mentioned Big Planet Made company as an "external force" involved in the controversy.
On June 1, it was revealed that SM Entertainment sent a statement of facts to Big Planet Made.
"We recently sent a statement of facts to Big Planet Made." It is presumed to be related to EXO, Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin.
In particular, Big Planet Made, hereinafter BPM Entertainment, is led by Executive MC Mong. After EXO-CBX raised concerns about the validity of their contracts, there is an observation that the label approached the three members to sign them into the company.

However, since EXO renewed their contracts with SM Entertainment and has been doing activities for the company, the possibility of having a controversy over dual contracts might arise.
As a result, there are speculations that BPM prompted the three male idols to sue the company to terminate their contracts with SM.
SM Entertainment has then sent a statement of facts to Big Planet Made, signaling legal action.
In response to this, BPM shortly said:
"We will look into it."
In addition to this, SM Entertainment issued its official statement, stating:
"External forces that approach our artists and deliver false information/wrong legal evaluations are being identified, prompting them of ignoring their exclusive contracts and making unconventional proposals with them."
With this, SM Entertainment declared a stern warning to these "external forces" and attested that these "illegal acts" will not be ignored as it fuel conflicts between the company and artists.
BPM Clarifies Allegations of Approaching EXO-CBX To Induce Them To Sign Contract
In a related development, Big Planet Made, on the same day, issues its official statement, denying the allegations of prompting Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin to sue SM.
"Hello, we're Big Planet Made Entertainment.
We would like to inform you that what was reported regarding our company today (1st) is different from the facts.
First, Big Planet Made Entertainment has never met with the artists mentioned in the report discussed or exchange opinions about any exclusive contracts.
Second, MC Mong (Shin Dong Hyun) is not currently an executive director of our company and is not involved in any position, title, or management at all.
Third, it is true that we received a statement of facts from SM Entertainment under the name of the CEO, and we regret that the intention was to link the internal contract situation of another entertainment company with an unrelated head office.
Moving on, we will take strong legal action if they continue to insist on this."
