EXO-CBX Assures Eris With Comforting Words Through Lin Law Firm's Official Statement
On June 1, Lin law firm's Lee Jae Hak stated all three members of EXO's sub-unit CBX (Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin) have filed their exclusive contract termination.
Lee Jae Hak is CBX's law firm representative, who claimed that Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin's contracts were supposedly extended by SM Entertainment, and that all three members have requested copies of transparent settlement data and basis.
According to Lee Jae Hak, the demand for settlement is a minimum right of an artist. However, SM Entertainment has failed to fulfill the requirements. "SM has maintained its position that it cannot provide copies of such data," Lee Jae Hak stated.

SM Entertainment Breaks Silence on EXO-CBX's Contract Termination, BPM Gets Entangled
In the middle of their lawsuit against SM Entertainment, the agency officially shared their perspective and mentioned an "external force" being involved.
On June 1, it was reported that SM Entertainment sent a statement of facts to BPM (also known as Big Planet Made), which caused speculations to arise that the content may be related to EXO-CBX, and that BPM had approached the artists.
SM Entertainment declared:
"We are hoping to identify the external forces that our artists have encountered and those who generate false information or wrong legal evaluations."
"Actions such as prompting them of making alternative proposals and ignoring their contracts will not be tolerated lightly."
Following this, Big Planet Made released their take on the situation, denying involvement of prompting CBX to file a lawsuit against SM Entertainment.
The agency also stated that MC Mong (Shin Dong Hyun) is not the executive director for BPM, and rejected the allegations of meeting with Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin.
"Moving on, we will take strong legal action if they continue to insist on this," BPM commented.
