Although only three members were present physically in their concert, the group made Shawols feel that "SHINee is five" by "including" the late Jonghyun through THIS special gesture.
'SHINee Is Five': Heartwarming Reason Taemin Stood Away From Minho & Key
In an online community and social media platforms, Shawols (SHINee fandom) became emotional after one fan explained why Key and Minho were seen stuck together, while Taemin stood away from them during their recent concert.
From June 23 to 25, the members held a three-day concert, "SHINee World VI: Perfect Illumination," at the Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium in Seoul.
Aside from this is a special concert to commemorate its 15th debut anniversary, the show became more meaningful as it was their first physical concert in Korea in six years and nine months in the aftermath of their military enlistment and pandemic.
Unfortunately, leader Onew wasn't able to join the team after suspending his activities due to health reasons.
Despite this, Key, Minho and Taemin pushed through with the scheduled concerts.

During the concert, spectators were impressed by how there were only three members physically, but there was no shortage in terms of vocals, raps, and dance. Minho, Key, and Taemin didn't make fans think they were only a trio performing, but as a complete group - with their special gestures reminding viewers that SHINee is "five."
One Shawol took to Twitter to emphasize this heartwarming act by pointing out that Key and Minho were always together while Taemin stood away from them.
"It may be just me who felt that way, but at first, I wondered why Minho and Kibum (Key's real name) were stuck together when they were standing.
But after watching the performance on the third day, I realized that Taemin and Minho (left space) for Jonghyun's place."
It was speculated that the members left the space for the late Jonghyun to make fans feel he was also with them.
To explain this, SHINee members often take pictorials and appear in public, standing in the order of Onew, Taemin, Jonghyun, Minho, and Key.
The members are also aware of this fact — Minho actually posted a photo on Instagram on the 27th and tagged SHINee members' Instagram IDs in the order above, which left fans in tears.
Shawols who saw this left comments such as:
- "I'm crying so much."
- Let's be happy SHINee."
- "I really miss Jonghyun."
- "SHINee is always five."
