On July 26, aespa (Karina, Giselle, Winter and NingNing) joined an online fan call organized by Shopee with selected MYs (fandom).
As soon as the event ended, the lucky fans shared clips and snippets of their 2-minute fan calls with the members on social media platforms, particularly on Twitter.
The clips contained their hilarious or wholesome interaction with the stars, and some of the idols' answers to rarely asked questions in public. There were times that fans would also play games and make their favorite artists do TikTok challenges with them.

During the call with Karina, one fan did the popular trend among K-pop idols, which was showing them pictures of various groups and asking them to choose their bias.

The fan said:
"I heard this is popular these days, pick your favorite group! If I show you the picture, can you tell me Karina's favorite member?"
The MY then started flashing photos of top girl groups from the fourth-gen era and each of Karina's biases in every team shouts, "THE TASTE!"
Starting with IVE, Karina selected Ahn Yujin, who is also the leader of the team.

When NewJeans photo was flashed, the "Thirsty" singer picked Hanni, the Vietnamese-Australian member of the team.
In LE SSERAFIM, Karina once again chose the leader which is Kim Chaewon.

When this became known among girl group fans, they can't help but show their delight as coincidentally, Kim Chaewon also chose Karina as her bias member when asked in a recent fan call!

Lastly, Karina pointed out Yoon-A, hereinafter Sullyoon, as her favorite member of JYP Entertainment's group, NMIXX.

Meanwhile, aespa, who released their third mini-album "MY WORLD" on May 8, has been continuing their solo and group activities.
In fact, on July 26, it was announced that the quartet will also meet Jakarta fans in September, as a part of SM Entertainment's family concert.
In particular, SM Entertainment announced on this day that the SM Town Live 2023: SMCU Palace @Jakarta" concert will be held at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium in Indonesia on September 23.
The concert will be held in Jakarta for the first time in 11 years since 2012 and it will also be held this year to commemorate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Indonesia.
Among SM artists, TVXQ, Super Junior, Red Velvet, NCT 127, NCT Dream, aespa, and SM rookie groups scheduled to debut in September are set to join the concert lineup.
