Amid criticism that Jihyo's solo debut "flopped," the TWICE main vocalist proved otherwise with her domestic and international achievements for her first mini-album, "ZONE."
TWICE Jihyo Solo Debut Album 'ZONE' Enters U.S. Billboard in 9 Categories
Contrary to claims that the idol's solo debut "flopped," TWICE Jihyo proved her global influence and power after entering the U.S. Billboard in 9 categories!
According to Billboard's official release on August 29 (local time), Jihyo's first mini-album, "ZONE," released on August 18, entered 14th place on its main chart, "Billboard 200"!
As of the September 2 chart, Jihyo ranked 10th in "Artist 100."

"ZONE" also succeeded in charting in a total of nine categories, including the "Top Album Sales" (No. 4), "Top Current Album Sales" (No. 4), "Billboard Global 200" (No. 193), "Billboard Global" (excluding the U.S.) (No. 127), "LyricFind Global" (No. 14), "World Album" (No. 3) and "World Digital Song sales" (No. 11).
She is now the second female K-pop soloist to enter the top 100 of the Billboard 200, following her co-member Nayeon's release of "IM NAYEON" in 2022!

Aside from her achievements in the U.S., Jihyo also cemented her status in South Korea after recording history as the female idol with the highest first-week sales among mini-album releases.
"ZONE" particularly achieved 534,565 copies (record sales for a week based on the release date) based on the album aggregation site Hanteo Chart on August 24.
Aside from being the highest-selling mini-album among female soloists, Jihyo also broke the record sales among female solo artists and established her name name as the first half-million-seller with "ZONE" among mini-album releases.

In addition, the album also entered the top 10 of Spotify's "Top Album Debut Global Chart," "Top Album Debut USA Chart" (August 18-20), and Top Album Debut UK Chart (August 18-21).
The world's largest music streaming platform also announced that her title track, "Killin' Me Good," ranked No. 1 at the "Top Song Debut Global Chart" (August 18-20).
Talking about the title song, "Killin' Me Good" continues to make waves in TikTok as a popular and addictive challenge among idols and fans.
Due to Jihyo's solid singing skills and powerful performance, the official MV for the song also surpassed 11 million views as of Aug. 30.
Thanks to Jihyo's achievements locally and abroad, the TWICE leader squashed the criticism that she "flopped" after failing to dominate the MelOn chart, the largest music-streaming platform in South Korea.
