She talked about her K-pop girl group f(x), which has been on a long hiatus since they released their fourth studio album, "4 Walls," in 2015.

The K-media specifically asked:

"The reunion of the 1st and 2nd-generation idol groups that have been scattered these days is continuing, but does f(x) have no plans?"

In response to this, Krystal said:

"I have a group chat with the members, so we often talk about what we've been up to. Everyone is busy with their own lives. But when I see other teams getting back together, I get emotional.

Actually, we didn't expect the last album we released (4 Walls) to be the last. I would be very happy to have a chance to get together again."

Following the group's hiatus, the members ended up leaving SM Entertainment one by one, which made it harder for them to reunite as a group.

With Krystal's answer, fans implied that although the group does think about reuniting in the future, that future has yet to come due to their respective solo activities and schedules which must be considered due to differences in companies.

Many fans are particularly waiting for her return as a K-pop idol, as the original "K-pop It Girl" and "Center," popularized having a cold "RBF" yet sophisticated image.

Krystal then raised the hopes of fans, saying:

"It's not that I don't have thoughts about debuting as a solo artist. But I couldn't find a good song, or the schedule didn't match, or the situation didn't work out.

If I have a chance, I want to be on stage again. I can never forget the nervousness and excitement when I work with the audience on stage. I want to experience it again."

In fact, she emphasized that she's open to all kinds of activities, may it be regarding her idol of acting career.

"I'm open to everything, and there is no wall for activities."

However, she's still yet to find a song and genre that suits her well, stating:

"I thought about what I should do if I do it because I have so many favorite genres, and I thought I should just listen to (music), but I think I'll release an album if a capable producer who can find me well appears."
