On October 4, Suho met the Korean media outlet Star News at the SM Entertainment building in Seongdong-gu Seoul.

While they dish on the star's future as an actor, the media also asked him about his future as an EXO member and leader.
"How do you plan to be a leader of EXO?"
Suho responded:
"EXO is a multi-person group, so I became the leader who led the members in their 20s. I think many people viewed me positively when they saw me as a leader.
At first, I didn't like being a leader, but now I feel better when the members follow me well because of the title 'Leader.' I'm satisfied because the name leader seems to have energy that can't be ignored."
Regarding the future of EXO, Suho emphasized:
"I plan to continue to promote EXO with the members."
In fact, amid the military enlistment of the "maknae line" Kai and Sehun (service date is yet to be announced) as well as the other members' endeavor, everyone agreed to continue working as EXO.
"The 'youngest line' will also serve in the military and the friends who have been discharged will have their own dreams that they were unable to achieve in their 20s so I respect that, but my opinion is that we should continue to promote as a team called EXO for a long time."
Just then, Suho confirmed EXO's comeback in 2024.
"We actually met yesterday and talked about our next album plans for next year (2024). Usually, I want to gather, but yesterday, Sehun asked us to gather."
EXO Suho Shares Why He Didn't Give Up Acting Amid Group's Activities
Meanwhile, as the interview went on, Suho also talked about being the only member to specialize in acting at school among EXO members.
He then confessed:
"While I was an SM trainee, I had a dream of becoming a singer and an actor together. When I first joined the company, Super Junior was not only singing but also acting and entertainment and SM did not divide the singer as a singer and actor as an actor.
I told them that I would like to be an actor while being a singer. So I had the same dream of becoming an actor as much as the dream of becoming a singer."
He almost debuted in SHINee but due to an injury, he couldn't dance in the third year of high school, that's why he decided to take the SAT and luckily got into Korea National University of Arts and studied film and theater.
Although he had to withdraw in 2011, he narrated that he met friends who see him not as EXO Suho but as Kim Junmyeon.
