The fanbases of VIVIZ, Yuju, and Somi have all voiced out their mixed reactions towards American and singer Lil Uzi Vert, for having met their idols.

Lil Uzi Vert has been long known as a Buddy, who is a fan of GFRIEND. The rapper has been vocal about their love for the now-disbanded group and is evident from the viral tweet they made in 2015.

The rapper's love for the group was also noticed by fellow Buddies, when they learned that GFRIEND had officially disbanded on May 2021.

This led Lil Uzi Vert to be sentenced to three-year probation in February 2022. Their sentence is broken down to a year of treatment on mental health, substance abuse, accompanied by domestic violence counseling for a total of 52 weeks.

The sentence was pleaded after prosecutors charged Lil Uzi Vert with three felonies, firearm assault, criminal threats, domestic violence, and the carrying of a loaded weapon, which added a misdemeanor charge.
