Unfortunately, Jellyfish Entertainment that leader N (Cha Hak Yeon) will sit out of the group's comeback and activities.
To explain this to fandom Starlights, N personally took to his SNS to release his official statement, citing that the main reason he isn't able to participate is due to his conflicting schedules.
He conveyed:
"To my Starlights whom I'm truly grateful and sorry as they must have suffered because of me, I'm sorry that I couldn't say hello on VIXX's stage because I couldn't participate in this album's activities.
To Taekwoon, Jaehwan, and Hyuk as well who still recognize me as VIXX's oldest brother and worry about me, I'm genuinely grateful yet sorry.

K-Netz, Starlights Demand VIXX N to Just Leave the Group
While some Starlights and N's supporters understood that he had to complete his remaining schedules for the second half of the year as an actor, Korean fans' dissatisfaction with the idol reached its peak.
Fans emphasized that he's not only a member of the group, but he's also the leader, who plays a significant role in maintaining VIXX's order and teamwork.
Unfortunately, he hasn't been active in the group for five years and fans are pissed at this point that they feel like N puts weight on acting more than his original roots as VIXX.
Although Cha Hak Yeon attested to fans in his letter that he will continue to protect his name as N of VIXX, Starlights are frustrated with how he makes fans hopeful with selective activities such as not attending activities but appearing in self-contents like recruiting fan clubs.
Fans also criticized him for choosing acting over VIXX's schedules when he was originally an idol before becoming an actor.
Here are comments from K-Starlights and netizens:
- "Do you even have the qualifications of a leader?"
- "Just withdraw from the group."
- "I thought you already left the group but you're still giving fans false hope?"
- "He's getting criticized for not doing any activities, so why don't he just resign? Is it because you're the leader or something?"
- "If this is going to happen, you should just leave. It's not like you're exceptionally good at acting. Is VIXX your insurance? The leader is so irresponsible."
- "It's been five years since your last activity and you dare not to participate?"
- "Don't hesitate and just leave the group."
- "To be honest, it's been five years so what big difference will it make if you leave now?"
