Many K-pop songs have been released this 2023, and among the long list of bops that fans have received, a total of five made it on NME's list of "The 50 Best Songs of 2023," which was dropped earlier on December 4.
To start off, the first K-pop song to be mentioned by NME was "Super Shy" by NewJeans.
Furthermore, "Perfume" was praised for its smooth execution, evident in its R&B roots.
"Composed of three of the group's strongest singers, Doyoung, Jaehyun, and Jungwoo, the trio shared a tale of pure devotion over electro-tinged R&B grooves," NME remarked.
