The conference, initially intended for a new year's greeting, took an unexpected turn as it became a platform to clarify G-Dragon's drug-related case and announce his exclusive contract with Galaxy Corporation, marking his anticipated return to the music scene in 2024.
A Reflective Message
Director Jo Sung Hae, representing Galaxy Corporation, explained the urgency of the press conference to dispel confusion surrounding G-Dragon's case. Due to scheduling constraints, G-Dragon couldn't attend, prompting Galaxy Corporation's director Oh Hee Young to read the artist's letter.
