Earlier on December 20, former SNSD Jessica Jung appeared on The Daily Ketchup podcast as a guest.

On this day, the star introduced her latest mini-album, "BEEP BEEP" and announced her plans as a soloist actively promoting in China.

During the interview, the hosts mentioned the time she was still a member of one of the most legendary girl groups in K-pop, Girls Generation.

At the time, Jessica was consistent in denying she decided to leave but K-netizens were initially more on SNSD and SM's side.

Some people claimed she should leave because she's been affecting the group's practice and performance due to her busy schedule working with BLANC & ECLARE.

But the opinions became more divided when Jessica released her debut book, "Shine" and "Bright," which is speculated to be based on her own experience as a Korean-American idol.

In the book, Rachel is ostracized and kicked out by her members of the team. As a result, there was a lot of speculation among fans that Jessica has been subtly revealing the truth about the unfortunate incident.
