These K-pop idols are booked and busy! Even without group activities, GOT7 Youngjae, Red Velvet Wendy l, and more were the busiest in K-pop idols in 2023!
The K-pop schedule app BLIP released its 2023 Year-End Settlement Schedule Report. This data helps fandom communities look back on the individual activities of K-pop idol members.
In particular, this was created by analyzing and summing both official and informal schedules by hundreds of artists.
The schedules may include celebrations, broadcasts, releases, purchases, events, and other schedules registered from December 1, 2022 to November 30, 2023.
GOT7 Youngjae Ranks #1 Artist With Most Solo Schedules in 2023
According to the analysis, the artist who had the most solo schedules this year was GOT7 Youngjae, who performed a total of 332 solo schedules.
Amid the GOT7 hiatus, Youngjae has been continuously serving the K-pop scene with his music as a soloist. This year, he released a single album, "Err Day," and "Best Friend" in March.
In November, he also released his first full-length album, "Do It."
Youngjae has also participated in multiple photoshoots this year for various brands and appeared in numerous video content.
Top 10 K-pop Idols With Busiest Solo Schedules in 2023
Following Youngjae, Day6 Young K came in second with 259 schedules.
After being discharged from the military as a KATUSA soldier in April, the singer has been consistently working as a soloist, radio DJ, and entertainer.
In September, he released his solo album "Letters with Notes" and the single "7-ELEVEN with You" in November as a promotional song for the convenience store chain in Korea.
Super Junior Kyuhyun then completed the top 3 with 239 solo schedules. This year, the idol focused on his musical career with the play, "Ben-Hur."
He is also a host for various variety shows like "Peak Time," "Phantom Singers Season 4," "Nineteen to Twenty," "Bro & Marble," "Knights of the Lamp," "Sing Again Season 3," and "Single's Inferno Season 3."
The top 10 are mostly comprised of radio DJs with consistent schedules, like BTOB Minhyuk (186 schedules), Red Velvet Wendy (183 schedules), and Highlight Lee Gi Kwang (152 schedules), ranking them fourth, sixth and eighth, respectively.
In the rankings, it is also noteworthy that there are several active idol members, including Super Junior Heechul (184 schedules/5th place), and WJSN Dayoung (118 schedules/9th place).
Lastly, SHINee Key and Minho, who have been active for well over 10 years, entered the rankings as seventh and 10th place with 177 and 110 schedules, in order.
Earlier, the analysis result of idol members who had the most schedules this year was found to be IVE An Yujin. She performed a whopping 447 schedules.
This is the result of her personal activities such as entertainment and advertising as well as her album group activities.
Following her, NCT Mark took the top 5 with 433 schedules, ZEROBASEONE Zhang Hao (429), STAYC Yoon (423), and ZEROBASEONE Sung Hanbin (423).
