Despite unexpected accidents, the K-pop artists who attended the 2023 SBS Gayo Daejeon didn't only serve the looks but presented impressive stages as well!
On December 25 at 5:10 p.m. KST, the 2023 SBS Gayo Daejeon was broadcast live, under the theme, "SWITCH ON."
As if lighting up the Christmas tree, the music festival aimed to brighten up the viewers' and fans' Christmas with colorful performances and special stages by the most shining artists this year.
This 2023, the event was held at Inspire Arena, Korea's first K-pop performance arena, to give K-pop enthusiasts a high-quality viewing experience.
Although the music festival was met with unfortunate accidents like lift fall, ticket fraud, sound problems and mishaps, the artists still gave their best to make it a one-of-a-kind experience for every spectator.

On this day, the event was filled with top-tier and rising artists that dominated the second-gen to fifth-gen K-pop eras, hosted by special MCs SHINee Key, IVE An Yujin and TXT Yeonjun.
In particular, this year's lineup was comprised of TVXQ, SHINee, NCT 127 & NCT DREAM, fromis_9, THE BOYZ, ATEEZ, ITZY, STAYC, aespa, Stray Kids, (G)I-DLE, TXT, IVE, LE SSERAFIM, ENHYPEN, CRAVITY, NMIXX, ZEROBASEONE, RIIZE, BOYNEXTDOOR, NewJeans, Xikers, NiziU and &TEAM.

On the red carpet, the artists flaunted their spectacular appearances and charms, wearing outfits under the colors; white, black, red and blue.

Idols Showcase High-Quality Performances at the 2023 SBS Gayo Daejeon
Aside from looks, the artists' lineup had also performed only high-quality performances despite meeting unexpected accidents and problems.
Starting with TXT Yeonjun and ITZY Yuna, the two performers showed off spectacular special stages under the theme, "I'm SOLO." This is to honor solo artists who were greatly loved by global fans this 2023.
As a result, Yeonjun showed off a perfect cover of BTS Jungkook's "3D," while Yuna embodied BLACKPINK Jennie's "You & Me."
Under the theme of "LOVE & PEACE," NCT 127 performed "Kick It" and "Fact Check" wearing traditional custom-made Hanboks, along with Stray Kids who magnificently delivered stages for "BATTLE GROUND," "LALALALA" and "Megaverse."
Meanwhile, four boy groups representing the 5th-gen era including BOYNEXTDOOR, ZEROBASEONE, RIIZE, and &TEAM united to present a special cover of Super Junior's "Miracle" to share a message of unity to fans around the world.
Lastly, NCT & aespa prepared respective covers of their senior TVXQ hits to commemorate its 20th debut anniversary.
The boy group showcased "I Believe," while the quartet performed "Mirotic."
