The 2023 SBS Gayo Daejeon organizer was called out for "frustrating" and "worst" management that led to accidents, safety issues, poor camerawork, sounds.

Fandoms Complain About Poor Sound, Camerawork at 2023 SBS Gayo Daejeon

Even during the event, the complaints worsened after multiple accidents related to sound quality, not to mention the poor camerawork that affected K-pop fans' viewing experience.

Some of the victims of poor sounds were (G)I-DLE, ZEROBASEONE and Stray Kids. During the boy group Stray Kids stage, an accident happened when NewJeans' MR appeared amid their stage. Subtitle mistakes also happened when they were incorrectly marked as "Stary Kids."

In fact, NewJeans experienced the wrong subtitles when the caption mistakenly wrote "New Jeans + Ditto + OMG" as the only songs they would perform, when they also performed "ETA."

Regarding poor camerawork, THE BOYZ, xikers, Stray Kids, NewJeans and numerous fandoms expressed their strong disappointment with this, as the event failed to showcase the stages' "killing parts" and "highlights" as the camera incomprehensibly started showing empty stages or releasing fan seats that were out of focus amid performances.

The man threw himself to cross the restraining line but was fortunately overpowered by the bodyguards at the scene.

Surprised by the sudden commotion, Winter couldn't move for a while and looked at the bodyguard and the fan. Other members also seemed to have confirmed this.

In addition, Ten suddenly fell down the lift during NCT's "Baggy Jeans" stage. The scene was not aired, but Ten's fall from the lift was broadcast on air.

Despite that, the idol showed professionalism by immediately returning to the stage and finishing the performance, but the video quickly spread through the online community.

Fans were concerned about Ten's injury by conveying the sightings of the accident, but Ten left assured fans through a fan communication platform, saying:

"I'm okay. Don't worry. I'll tell you right away if it really hurts."

In particular, it revealed the lack of preparation of the directors, given that this was not the first time that the crash occurred.

In 2019, Red Velvet Wendy suffered injuries that left her on a hiatus for more than a year after falling from a lift about 2 meters high.

Fans were calling out SBS to address the poorly executed festival, including mistakes in subtitles, overlapping songs, and inspection of stage equipment, which lack of preparation led to a series of accidents.
