SNSD Tiffany, former Wonder Girls Sunmi, and 2NE1 Dara are set to grace the forthcoming 33rd Seoul Music Awards!
At the upcoming 33rd Seoul Music Awards, the members of the "most legendary girl groups" are set to bring back nostalgia with their iconic hits.
On January 2, 2024, the 33rd Seoul Music Awards will be held at Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. In the music festival's three-decade history, this will be the first time that it will be conducted in an international venue, in line with the globalization of K-pop.
The event is expected to gather top-tier idols and actors, including Lee Seung Gi, Lee Jun Ki, Park Shin Hye, and more. Together with them, the ceremony will honor Korea's leading K-pop artists in various categories including bonsangs, daesangs, and special awards for each genre.

Aside from the awarding, K-pop fans are also showing interest in the ceremony's artist lineup, which includes all-time legendary stars who laid K-pop's foundation around the world!
In particular, members of rival K-pop groups from the 2nd-gen era SNSD Tiffany, ex-Wonder Girls Sunmi, and 2NE1 Dara will perform at the 33rd Seoul Music Awards.
From the late 2000s to the early 2010s, the listed above stars raised K-pop's status in the world by being members of their respective groups.
Starting with Tiffany Young, she debuted in Girls' Generation in 2007 with various hits like "The Boys," "I Got a Boy," "Genie," "Gee," and more.
Since then, she expanded her career in the sub-unit TTS, soloist, and actress both in musicals and television.
Fans will meet her as an MC for the event.
Sunmi, who rose in popularity as Wonder Girls in 2007, will also attend the festival as a soloist who continues her unrelenting fame.
Lastly, Sandara Park, who debuted as 2NE1 in 2009 and created a K-pop craze around the world, will also perform at the "Seoul Music Awards."
Local fans are anticipating what kind of performance those who encompass the past and the present will perform with their original concepts every time.
GOT7 to Reunite at the 33rd Seoul Music Awards
In related news, third-gen representative GOT7 members including BamBam, Youngjae, and Mark will also attend the music festival together after a long time.
BamBam will also be there as an MC to communicate with Thai fans, while Youngjae will come as a special MC.
Furthermore, singer and actor Lee Seung Gi, who debuted in 2004, will return at the same event where his first rookie awards, two decades later. It is expected that his 20th debut anniversary will be more meaningful in line with his special connection to the awards ceremony.
Lastly, Dynamic Duo, who dominated this 2023 with "AEAO" and "SMOKE" craze, will set the stage on fire even more with their appearance.
