Recently, accidents caused by fans have occurred one after another. In fact, three SM Entertainment idols were exposed to fan attacks in less than a month. Keep on reading to learn what happened to each star.
aespa Winter Nearly Attacked at 2023 SBS Gayo Daejeon
On December 25th, many stars gathered at the Inspire Arena in Incheon to participate in the 2023 Gayo Daejeon. The event was broadcast live for fans all around the world.
After the event, a video of aespa member Winter almost being attack went viral online. As the idol and her fellow members were seen leaving the venue, a male fan holding a camera was seen sprinting towards Winter. He was seen lunging at her as he ran.

Thankfully, a fast-acting security guard prevented the male from attacking Winter. He quickly tackled the fan to the ground, and the aespa members were able to leave unharmed.
If the security guard was not paying attention, a dangerous situation could have occurred, and Winter could have easily been injured due to the accident.
Girls' Generation Taeyeon Suffers Due to Rude Fan During Fan Sign
On December 8th, Girls' Generation member and soloist Taeyeon also suffered to a rude male fan.
To celebrate her comeback, "To. X," Taeyeon held an in-person fan sign. The event was small as only a select number of lucky fans were given tickets to attend. Sadly, one of the attendees abused the fact he got into the event.

The woman was quickly arrested under the charges of special intimidation.
With the rise in fans attacking their favorite idols, many are becoming more and more concerned for the well-being of their biases. With three SM Entertainment idols being victims to attacks, many are hoping idols take this as a lesson to raise the security of their talents. Additionally, legal action should be taken against such individuals.
