The Hanteo Music Awards 2023 has officially announced its nominees.

As for the criteria, the final winners will be determined by the following:
(Daesang) Grand Prize
- Best Artist
- Best Album
- Best Song
- Best Performance
The grand prize will be derived from 50 percent of the Hanteo Global score, while 30 percent will come from judges, and Artist of the Year votes will make up 20 percent.
Artist of the Year (Main Prize)
- This award will be determined by 40 percent of the Hanteo Global score, 30 percent from global voting, and 30 percent from judges.
Rookie of the Year
- Emerging Artist Award
- Post Generation Award
The assessment will be 40 percent Hanteo Global score, 30 percent global voting, and 30 percent judging score.
Special Awards
- Virtual Artist
- Trot
- Band
- Ballad
- Hip Hop
Global voting (40 percent), Hanteo Global score (30 percent), Judges (30 percent)
Global Artist Award
- Hanteo Global score (50 percent), Global voting (50 percent)
WhosFandom Award
- The global score will make up the 100 percent for this category.
Best Producer Award
- Hanteo Global score (50 percent), judges (50 percent)
