In a recent development in the legal saga surrounding idol group Omega X, their legal representative, Jonjae Law Firm, has officially refuted Spire Entertainment's claims.
The law firm responded to reports that Spire filed a lawsuit last May, accusing Omega X's legal representatives, specifically lawyers Noh Jong-eon and Seo Joo-yeon, of spreading false information.
Denying Allegations and Countering Accusations
According to Jonjae Law Firm's statement on January 5th, the allegations made by Spire Entertainment are factually incorrect.
Despite claims by Spire that they filed a defamation lawsuit against the legal representatives, Jonjae Law Firm revealed that they have not received an attendance order from the police, nor any summons related to the case, even after 8 months.
The idol group emerged victorious in January 2023 when the court granted the injunction, affirming the legitimacy of their claims.
Pending Counter Lawsuit
As the legal tug-of-war continues, Omega X's legal representatives have announced their intention to respond with a counter lawsuit. The unfolding legal drama brings to light not only the allegations of abuse and mistreatment within the entertainment industry but also the intricate web of legal proceedings that often accompany such disputes.
The clash between Omega X and Spire Entertainment is poised to remain in the spotlight as both parties prepare to present their cases in the court of law.
