aespa Karina Named Idol That Suits Ideal Types of South Korean Teens
On January 7, a post titled "Most recent ranking of ideal types among idols selected by teens." The post contains the results of a survey taken by South Korean teens aged 13–18, where they selected which female K-pop idols best match their ideal types.

Each idol goes through a this-or-that portion until they are named the victor by the voter. Teens who are voting could pick from several idols, from long-time veterans to rookies.
From all the K-pop idols that could be voted for, aespa member Karina was named the idol that suits the ideal types of Korean teens the most. She garnered 23.57% of the votes.
But she wasn't the only aespa member who made the top ten! Ranking in second place is co-member Winter, who garnered 12.94% of the votes.
Both aespa members have gone viral for their visuals. Karina has earned praise for her long and slender figure, which matches perfectly well with her doll-like visuals. With her big eyes, tall nose, and small head, many South Korean girls want to look like her, while boys want girlfriends who look like her!
Winter, on the other hand, has earned fame for her cute and gentle beauty. Many have likened her visuals to Girls' Generation member Taeyeon. She is small and petite, with gentle eyes and a high nose bridge. Many believe she looks just like a princess.
In terms of fourth-generation visuals, Karina and Winter are on top of the game!
aespa released the song "Zoom Zoom" on October 6. The single was used as the "Beyblade X" anime's closing theme music. On November 10, aespa released their fourth extended play, "Drama." Six tracks total, including the lead single of the same name, are included in the extended play.
Winter's participation in the special collaboration single "Nobody," featuring (G)I-DLE's Soyeon and IVE's Liz, was confirmed on November 11. The song was released on November 16.
