TWICE Member Rumored to Debut Solo After THIS Happened — And ONCEs Are Losing It

ONCEs are currently speculating the third member in TWICE to debut solo after fans discovered THIS on Instagram.

Here's what happened.

TWICE Momo Rumored as Group's Third Member to Debut Solo, ONCEs Discover Idol's 'Activity' with Popular US Label

TWICE has grasped the attention of ONCEs for being in the limelight through numerous comeback announcements.

While the group is prepping for their upcoming digital single "I GOT YOU," which is set to release on February 2, 2024, they have also alarmed ONCEs for a separate incident.

On the social media platform Instagram, ONCEs discovered that renowned US music label Universal Music Group has followed TWICE's main dancer Hirai Momo.

This speculation arose since Nayeon and Jihyo, who make up TWICE's existing soloist roster, were also previously followed by the US label. Here's how ONCEs reacted to the news:

ONCEs are counting on each TWICE member to have their solo debuts long before Momo became rumored for one. However, the main dancer is indeed one of K-pop's most speculated solo debuts due to her talent and charisma.

With her solo debut now on the lookout, some claimed that her concept would be somewhat similar to Taemin, the youngest member and main dancer of SHINee, who made waves across the K-pop industry as a charismatic soloist.

The exciting remarks were also made earlier in 2022, when some fans on X recalled Momo and Jihyo's collab stage with Taemin for "Goodbye," together with her special stage for "Move." Read their comments below:

Aside from Momo, the first TWICE member to debut was the group's oldest member, Nayeon. The center member made her solo debut on June 24, 2022, when she released her first mini album "Im Nayeon" and the hit song "POP!"

Nayeon was then followed by TWICE's leader Jihyo, who debuted on August 18, 2023, with debut mini album "ZONE" and title track "Killin' Me Good." Jihyo's debut was also anticipated since she's one of K-pop's best aces and performers.

On July 26, 2023, JYP Entertainment debuted TWICE's first-ever sub-unit MISAMO, composed of the group's Japanese members Mina, Sana, and Momo. The trio debuted with their first mini album "Masterpiece" and title track "Do not touch."
