Choie Yena, a former member of IZ*ONE, kicked off the year after a seven-month hiatus. On January 15, 2024, Yena released her third mini-album, "GOOD MORNING." This album is said to mark a new milestone in the female idol's career, showing a more mature musical style accompanied by a brand-new look.
Her label, Yuehua Entertainment, described the title song as a track that combines bright lyrics with mature sounds. The song symbolizes a beautiful morning after experiencing a dark moment. The song was composed by Choi Yena herself, showing off her musical prowess.
In June 2023, Yena released the song "Hate Rodrigo," which received mixed responses since it explicitly mentions Olivia Rodrigo by name. With her new album, many are curious if the idol can overcome her previous controversy.
