The plot thickens as news outlets in South Korea reported how "Sojang" allegedly hired "part-timers" to leave a trail of hate comments to Jang Wonyoung.

On January 18, netizens discussed the reports coming from Korean news outlets saying how controversial YouTuber "Sojang" had hired multiple people as part-timers to leave hate comments on Jang Wonyoung.
The author uploaded numerous screenshots from the reports, showing an excerpt describing instructions to criticize Wonyoung's facial expressions in every YouTube video she's in. The caption included a pay summary for every comment posted.
"I'm looking for people to leave comments criticizing Jang Wonyoung's facial expressions in every YouTube video," it stated. "50 won for short comments, 100 won for long comments."
"Sojang would hire part-timers to leave hate comments," the report declared. The author also uploaded an example of a hate comment, stating:
"Her expression is like those people having (censored word) at the club. Why would a young kid like her do that? She's making those (censored word) expressions on purpose and she's toxic towards the youth."
K-netz and DIVEs were further angered by Sojang's actions and expressed how outrageous it was for someone to go this far to send hate and earn money. Read their comments below:

IVE Jang Wonyoung Wins Lawsuit Against Sojang, Starship Releases Statement
Earlier on January 17, IVE's agency Starship Entertainment announced that Wonyoung had won her civil lawsuit against the YouTuber. The company shared how it has been conducting legal proceedings in civil, criminal, and overseas since November 2022.
Sojang, also known as Park Joo Ah, has been long caught in hot water among the K-pop community for spreading false and speculative information to the public.
While the agency's lawsuit against Sojang is yet to be finalized, Wonyoung's separate civil case has been won through a confession.
According to the 210th Civil Division of the Seoul Central District Court, Starship Entertainment and Wonyoung sued Sojang for damages, which included plaintiffs amounting to 100 million KRW ($74.5K USD). The lawsuit was filed by Wonyoung in October 2023.
