The first brand reputation ranking list for K-pop girl groups this 2024 has been released by the Korean Business Research Institute. According to the institute, the list comprised of the Top 50 girl groups who trended the most this January.
The results were also derived from data gathered from December 14, 2023, to January 14, 2024. It has also analyzed numerous factors regarding the overall exposure of these artists, alongside their presence, impact, and activeness in the industry.
Here are the Top 10 K-pop girl groups in January 2024!
1. BLACKPINK
The list was dominated by K-pop's biggest girl group, BLACKPINK, who received a brand reputation index of 4,675,078.
2. NewJeans
NewJeans made it on No. 2, where they received a brand reputation index of 4,068,692. The group has also been active in their content and official schedules.
3. IVE
IVE defended their position at the No. 3 spot, where they ranked with a brand reputation index of 3,345,078.
4. TWICE
The fourth place was claimed by TWICE, who received a brand reputation index of 2,551,545. The nonet has also trended for their "READY TO BE" world tour, which is now coming to a close, as well as their upcoming pre-release single "I GOT YOU."
5. LE SSERAFIM
With a brand reputation index of 2,410,596, fourth-gen leader LE SSERAFIM made it on fifth place.
6. aespa
The list was continued by aespa, who received a brand reputation index of 2,289,222 for January.
7. Girls' Generation
Iconic second-gen girl group Girls' Generation made it on seventh place, where they received a brand reputation index of 2,286,535.
8. (G)I-DLE
(G)I-DLE received a brand reputation index of 2,050,317, which led them to claim the No. 8 spot on the list. This January, the girl group has also been making rounds on social media for their "2" teasers, which became hot topics in various online communities.
9. Red Velvet
Red Velvet managed to claim ninth place. According to the list, the quintet garnered a brand reputation index of 1,916,469.
10. BABYMONSTER
Finally, YG Entertainment's newest girl group BABYMONSTER racked in a brand reputation index of 1,647,426, rounding out the Top 10.
