IU's 'Love wins all' Tesseract Villain Hilariously Compared to Suchwita's Sugar Cube
On January 23, IU released the music video for "Love wins all," the soloist's 10th digital single and the pre-release track of her upcoming album.
Before it was released, the music video was also highly anticipated by the K-pop community, Uaenas, and ARMYs, due to the appearance of BTS V. The teasers sent fans on a rave since both V and IU would get to display their acting skills once again.
ARMYs and Uaenas were thrilled with the early teasers and expressed their favorable remarks due to IU and V's visual chemistry. This also led them to hope that the two all-rounders would get to work as co-stars for real one day.
When the song was finally uploaded, its music video undoubtedly had fans in tears. The MV featured IU and V's characters running away from hostile tesseract beings, which caused the apocalypse in the MV.
Despite the ongoing despair, the two protagonists managed to find comfort in one another, accompanied by a series of dream sequences. Unfortunately, the inevitable happened, when one of the extraterrestrial cubes managed to find the two before erasing them away from existence.
Fans were heartbroken with the sad ending, which was further amplified by IU and V's powerful performances. On X (Twitter), Uaenas and ARMYs trended "I CRIED" "Love Wins All," and "IU and Taehyung," highlighting how much the MV trended online.
However, a good portion of fans salvaged everything they could find to get through the heartbreaking story. One particular character in the MV was hilariously poked by fans, saying how the villain was the censor sugar cube in BTS Suga's talk show "Suchwita."

Some made fun of the cube by bringing out eyebrow-raising one-liners that definitely got the online community to lighten up.
They also noticed the odd decision to put the antagonist as a special guest in the credits, while others amusingly wanted a witch-hunt for the hostile cube that took away IU and V in the story!
