In a recent video uploaded to the YouTube channel 'Leukeu Lee Kyung-gyu,' TVXQ's U-Know Yunho engaged in a profound conversation with Lee Kyung-gyu, shedding light on the emotions he experienced during the early days of his career.
Debut Dilemma: Navigating Embarrassment and Identity
Recalling their debut, U-Know Yunho shared a moment of vulnerability, confessing, "We debuted on the same day that Britney Spears and BoA had a collaboration stage on a music show.
They are really seniors and top stars. I wondered if this was okay. Isn't our team name 'TVXQ'? It's a bit childish. It's so embarrassing." The seasoned artist openly expressed his initial discomfort with the group's name, adding, "I'm a bit used to it now, but they say it means a god will rise in the East..."
Unveiling the Unseen: Singing Without Understanding
When asked about the evolution from debut to the 20th year, U-Know Yunho delved into a revealing revelation. "In the past, there were many songs I sang without knowing what they were. I was a student at the time, so I sang many of them without knowing what they were about.
Looking back now, I have no idea about the songs," he admitted, highlighting the growth in his understanding and delivering more accurate messages through his music.

Leadership Lessons: From Racing Forward to Finding Composure

However, he emphasized a shift in perspective over the years, stating, "Right now, there are parts where we want to have fun together. Of course, the goal is to do our best to achieve the goals we set. However, I think I've learned how to find composure within myself," drawing admiration from Lee Kyung-gyu.
Endurance and Gratitude: A 20-Year Journey
As Lee Gyeong-gyu commended U-Know Yunho's ability to maintain a successful group for two decades, Yunho expressed gratitude to those around him.
Acknowledging the contrasting personalities of himself and (Max) Changmin, he stated, "Me and (Max) Changmin were very different friends. In fact, we were able to have a long run because we were so opposite. In doing so, I learned about life. Our fans also wait for us, so it motivates us."
