(G)I-DLE To Proceed With 2nd Studio Album '2' Amid Sensationalism, Health Issues
Aside from facing health issues, (G)I-DLE also met K-pop enthusiasts' raised brows after releasing a pre-release single, "Wife" on January 21.
When it was released, it garnered sour reactions from music fans for lyrics allegedly including inappropriate, sexual innuendoes.
Since the group got younger fans due to the popularity of their hit, "Queencard," parents are concerned the kids will hear a song that isn't suitable for their age.
As a result, KBS channel decided to ban the song on music shows as well as TV & radio broadcasts for its lyrics that are "too sexual."
