After giving up her custody to ex-husband Minhwan, Yulhee became the center of criticism for posting kids on her Instagram, with netizens accusing her of using them for content.
In particular, the ex-couple got married in 2018. In the same year, they had one son, and in 2020, Yulhee gave birth to their twin daughters.
As their married life was aired through the show, "Mr. House Husband," the family received love from viewers and fans.
Unfortunately, in December 2023, the star couple delivered their divorce news, which saddened fans rooting for their family.
Yulhee Shares Instagram Photos of Kids — Why Is She Being Criticized for It?
Following the divorce, Yulhee seemed to move out of their family's house and has been co-parenting with Minhwan by visiting kids every weekend.
On her personal Instagram, the former idol has been sharing their mother-children routine and bonding. In fact, on the 28th, she updated on her children's status where they were seen playing at a kids café.
But after sharing the photos on her Instagram story, she faced the anger of K-netz, accusing her of using her kids for content.
According to people, they are pissed at how Yulhee is portraying herself as a mother who's always with them, despite giving up her custody of the kids to Choi Minhwan.

As a brief context, all three kids were left to Minhwan as per the ex-couple's decision to prevent them from undergoing physical, social, and psychological impacts.
However, this decision backfired on Yulhee the most, since normally for kids who are under 7, the custody is given to mothers.
Koreans then speculated that it was due to Yulhee's extravagant spending habits.
On the flip side, the sympathy of people was given to Minhwan, who remains quiet about the divorce, and rather, he has been working non-stop to provide for his kids.
Here are some of the comments:
- "Are her kids considered her content now?"
- "You were being the irresponsible one for giving up your kids' custody during divorce, so don't you think you should find a way to make money without using your kids' faces to sell online?"
- "She obviously wants to be posting herself often and start getting Instagram brand deals and whatnot, but since people keep bringing up where the kids are, she most likely posted a few to quiet it down after feeling ashamed about it. What a stressful situation for Choi Minhwan."
- "Despite giving up the custody of the kids, she still wants to maintain the image of a mother who's still there for them. It's a pity that posting them publicly is just backfiring for her."
Yulhee Indirectly Responds to Accusations
On the flip side, Yulhee was cornered in a tight position since whether she posted the kids or not, she was deemed as the "bad mother."
On her Instagram, one follower asked:
"Are we not getting any pictures of the kids anymore?"
Yulhee revealed that she was actually being careful about it, saying:
"Now, the children have their own lives and there are things I worry about, so I feel cautious about revealing them to many people whenever we spend time together. However, from time to time, I will upload it.”
Yulhee continued that she would instead fill her Instagram with her favorite things and things she wants to do moving forward, after her divorce.
