After the termination of her contract with Jay Park's MORE VISION, K-netz criticized Jessi as they speculated her reason for leaving the label.
On January 31, MORE VISION, led by Jay Park, made an official announcement that singer-rapper Jessi's exclusive contract with the label has ended.
As this news came one month after the initial discord and departure rumor in December, K-netz re-examined the idol's past interviews and attitude, but she ended up getting backlash for it.
Jessi Leaves Jay Park's Label MORE VISION After 9 Months
According to the company:
"Hello, this is MORE VISION.
We inform you that as of January 31, 2024, MORE VISION and JESSI have mutually concluded to terminate the exclusive management contract."
Despite this, the label showed continued support for the idol, adding:
"MORE VISION will wholeheartedly continue to support JESSI's endeavors; and we truly appreciate your unwavering interest and support for JESSI's future. Thank you."

MORE VISION is an idol label headed by former 2PM-turned-soloist Jay Park, which is also home to Honey J and Chung Ha.
Jessi signed an exclusive contract with them in April 2023, but after nine months, she ended its link to the label.
Speculated Reasons Jessi Left MORE VISION — Why Are Netizens Criticizing Her?
While the reason for the idol's departure wasn't specifically stated by both parties, K-netz and K-media are quick to speculate why and re-examined Jessi's past remarks in interviews.
Jessi was an artist under PSY's P Nation until July 2022 before she signed an exclusive contract with Jay Park.
At the time, she complained about "not having freedom" from Psy's label, stating that she had been ordered what she should "do" and "don't."
She then mentioned that she chose MORE VISION for various reasons, including the fact that she and Park have a lot in common and are the same age and friends.
Despite that, she revealed that she also found it hard since she was unfamiliar with the label's more free atmosphere that she didn't have in P Nation.
Hearing that she left another agency, fans raised their brows at Jessi, claiming that at this point, the label isn't the problem. It's her.
Jay was so excited about Jessi joining his company, he gave her all the freedom she apparently was denied at her previous companies only for her to turn around and complain that she had too much freedom. Like, as a grown woman, bffr. Take responsibility for your own shortcomings.

As for jessi she should open her own label since no one ia good enough for her.
And jay should stop signing raggedy friends just because he feels like he ows them smth.
You don’t owe shit to anyone but yourself boo. pic.twitter.com/Rjep0vvz8P
Jessi thought MORE VISION was owned by her and her team liked noise, in fact it happened everywhere he went. Don't blame Jay and MV for she not working out there, that's normal for her.

When the problem is present more than 3 times in different places, the problem is her.
Thus, people claimed that it would be better if she could establish her own label just like what she initially planned rather than continue to transfer to another company and end up leaving again because her vision doesn't align with theirs.
Another reason the media and fans were looking at was the possible discord between Jessi and Jay Park around October last year.
When the female soloist unveiled her single, "Gum," she was supposedly going to appear on a music program but canceled it last minute due to poor health conditions.
During the promotion of the song, Jessi caught attention by talking to a radio broadcast about how tired and lonely she is after "people betrayed her a lot."
In a program, she was also asked to compare Psy and Jay Park's labels, but she drew attention by answering:
"I don't like both."
Amid all of this, a rumor that the termination of the contract of Jessi and Jay Park happened in December 2023, but both parties denied it and attested to fans that they don't have any discord.
However, after a month, the rumor came true and Jessi officially left Jay Park's label MORE VISION after nine months.
