With the first month of 2024 finally concluded, the Korean Business Research Institute officially released its brand reputation list involving all celebrities from various fields such as entertainment, sports, film, and music.
Deriving the data collected from December 31, 2023, to January 31, 2024, the organization included numerous K-pop artists on the star brand list due to their degree of exposure and the buzz they made this January.
Featuring the Top 10 Korean artists dominating star brand rankings in January 2024!
1. Lim Young Woong
In the music industry, Lim Young Woong claimed first place with a brand reputation index of 7,658,822. However, on the original list, the trot singer placed third among 30 celebrities.
2. IU
IU followed closely on No. 4 after receiving a brand reputation index of 5,761,230. The top soloist has also been active this January with her activities in the music industry, accompanied by her newest pre-release "Love wins all," "H.E.R." world tour announcement, and upcoming comeback "The Winning."
3. SEVENTEEN
SEVENTEEN placed No. 5 on the original list with a brand reputation index of 4,263,313. The group has also trended online for their fan tours overseas and imminent 9th debut anniversary.
4. BLACKPINK
BLACKPINK claimed the No. 6 spot after receiving a brand reputation index of 4,197,343.
5. IVE
In eighth place, IVE secured the position by garnering a brand reputation index of 3,902,524.
6. (G)I-DLE
(G)I-DLE grabbed onto the No. 9 spot after receiving a brand reputation index of 3,790,467. The girl group also went viral for their pre-release track "Wife," and made feats with their second full-length album "2," alongside its title track "Super Lady."
7. RIIZE
For the month of January, RIIZE rounded the list's Top 10 with a brand reputation index of 3,579,076.
8. Girls' Generation Taeyeon
Taeyeon received a brand reputation index of 3,356,469, earning her the list's No. 14.
9. Super Junior
Super Junior made it on No. 15 after receiving a brand reputation index of 3,169,318 for January.
10. Lee Chan Won
Lastly, soloist Lee Chan Won made it on No. 19 and according to the institute, the singer received a brand reputation index of 3,018,028.
