(G)I-DLE Shuhua Temporarily Sits Out Group Activities Due to Health Concerns, Cube Releases Official Statement
On February 8, Cube Entertainment released an official statement declaring the temporary hiatus of (G)I-DLE's youngest member Shuhua.
According to the statement, Shuhua had visited the hospital due to experiencing continual dizziness. It stated the symptom was caused by a decline in the idol's physical condition, which eventually led to her temporary hiatus and recovery.
Cube also revealed that Shuhua was willing to keep up with her schedules, but it was ultimately decided to let her rest for the meantime and regain her health.

The agency also encouraged fans to understand the situation, and that information regarding her schedules will be updated consistently. Read the agency's full statement below:
"Hello. This is Cube Entertainment.
This notice is an update regarding the health condition and future schedules of (G)I-DLE Shuhua.
Shuhua has visited the hospital due to continuous dizziness due to her health condition and is currently stabilizing according to the guidance of medical personnel.
Although Shuhua had a strong will to continue with the current schedule, we have decided to cancel all official schedules for the time being in order for her to fully recover since her health is the first priority.
We kindly ask for the generous understanding of fans, as this decision was agreed upon based on the consideration of the artist's health. We will inform everyone if there are any changes in her schedule in the future.
Once again, we would like to send our sincerest apologies to fans for causing concerns with this sudden news. We truly appreciate your kind understanding and we will make every effort to help the artist recover her health and condition.

Earlier on February 3, Cube had released an initial statement regarding Shuhua's poor health. The agency revealed that Shuhua had not been feeling well since February 2 and that her scheduled activities would be halted for her thorough recovery.
This also led to the cancellation of Shuhua's participation in (G)I-DLE's February 2 fan signing event, fancall event, and February 3 live broadcast on MBC's "Music Core."
"We apologize once again for this sudden news that caused concerns." Cube shared on Weverse. "We appreciate your understanding, and we will give our best efforts to help our artist recover."
On social media platform X (Twitter), Neverlands wished Shuhua a speedy recovery.
