Selena Gomez Accidentally Uses Photos of Girls' Generation Concerts in Post Thanking Her Fans

On February 14, 2024, Selena Gomez took to Instagram to thank her fans, noting them as her true Valentine this year.

The first photo in her post is a collage of stadiums filled with bright pink lights from concertgoers. The photo includes Selena Gomez's fandom name, "Selenators," along with a heart, insinuating that the photos used are taken from the American artists' own shows.

However, it was quickly discovered by both K-pop fans and Selenators that the photos are not from Selena Gomez's concerts at all. The photos are all from large stadiums, while Selena Gomez is known to have only performed in small arenas for her "Revival" world tour.

It turns out Selena Gomez mistakenly used photos from Girls' Generation's concerts. In fact, several photos clearly show fans holding Girls' Generation's iconic hot pink hearts lightstick!

For reference, the Girls' Generation's light stick looks like this:

It is unknown if Selena Gomez has been made aware of the mistake. Her comments are limited to mutuals and select followers, leaving fans unable to point out the error to the American songstress. As of writing, the post is still up, and Selena Gomez has not responded to the mishap.
