With data gathered from January 18 to February 18, the Korean Business Research Institute finalized its brand reputation rankings involving K-pop girl group members.
The data was also analyzed by determining several factors related to popularity, consumer activity, and exposure to the media.
Here are the Top 30 K-pop female idols of February 2024!
1. Girls' Generation Taeyeon
For the month of February, Taeyeon of Girls' Generation made it on the No. 1 spot after receiving a brand reputation index of 2,471,734. Taeyeon has also been trending through her endorsement deals, social media updates, and activities, which all contributed to engagement.
2. BLACKPINK Jennie
Jennie landed in second place this February. According to the list, the "SOLO" singer received a brand reputation index of 2,374,322.
3. TWICE Jihyo
TWICE's leader Jihyo rounded the top three after receiving a brand reputation index of 1,741,680. Through February, the group has also consistently trended for their comeback teasers for upcoming 13th mini album "With YOU-th."
4. NewJeans Hanni
Hanni made it in No. 4 after receiving a brand reputation index of 1,738,209.
5. BLACKPINK Jisoo
With a brand reputation index of 1,728,040, Jisoo managed to secure fifth place, rounding the top five for February 2024.
6. IVE Jang Wonyoung
On No. 6, the place was claimed by Jang Wonyoung of IVE, who is consistently trending on various online communities and forums. The list revealed that the idol had garnered a brand reputation index of 1,606,589.
7. aespa Karina
Karina snagged the No. 7 spot for February with a brand reputation index of 1,604,413. Moreover, the idol also trended for becoming the newest brand ambassador of Converse.
8. NewJeans Haerin
Haerin successfully collected a brand reputation index of 1,581,066 for February, leading her to become the eighth most popular K-pop girl group member.
9. aespa Winter
Winter has constantly proven herself as one of the most popular idols in the fourth-gen through her social media activity, alongside her schedules with aespa. This February, Winter claimed a brand reputation index of 1,515,042.
10. Red Velvet Wendy
Finally, we have Wendy of Red Velvet, who collected a brand reputation index of 1,460,487. Furthermore, the vocalist also made buzz on social media after announcing her first-ever solo comeback "Wish You Hell," which will be released on March 12.
