Last month, aespa appeared on a Japanese variety show. During one segment, aespa looked into their fortune for the coming year. When Karina drew her omikuji fortune paper, Ningning immediately reacted and said she got a good one.
Ningning took the liberty of reading Karina's fortune paper aloud. She is heard saying, "Money is good, and work is good too." She then read, "Love? Meeting a sincere person?"
To this, Karina joked, raising her hand and saying, "Manager, I'm sorry!" Her words sparked laughter on set.
On February 27, 2024, rumors regarding Karina and Lee Jae Wook's romantic relationships were confirmed by their labels. Many sent congratulatory messages to the two celebrities following their dating news. Both stars' labels confirmed the news, saying that they are getting to know each other well.
