EXO Lay Spotted Chatting With Former Labelmate In Airport
The current whereabouts of Lay, a member of EXO who is now active as a soloist, actor, and producer in China, has been revealed.
On February 26, 2024, a photo of Lay meeting Super Junior member Kim Heechul at the airport went viral online. The two bumped into each other at the airport. Previously, Lay completed a fan meeting in Japan.
Both idols debuted under SM Entertainment. Lay debuted with EXO in 2014, while his senior Heechul debuted with Super Junior in 2005. When Lay debuted with EXO, Heechul was already active with Super Junior for seven years.
However, while Heechul remains signed under the label, Lay left the company in 2022. Despite that, the two showed off their warm exchange as senior and junior colleagues. Their exchange delighted fans, warming their hearts.

Lay Proves He Still Loves EXO in Japanese Fan Meeting
During his fan meeting in Japan earlier this month, Lay performed EXO's "Growl" and "Call Me Baby."

He expressed his affection for his group members, saying, "I always worked hard for the team. Because I received a lot of love from the team, I don't want to disappoint them. It motivated me to work hard, both in terms of skill and relationship."
While active with EXO, Lay was the main dancer and sub-vocalist of the group. He founded Lay Zhang Studio in 2015 for his solo activities in China. As mentioned, he also formed his own entertainment company, Chromosome Entertainment Group, to train new talents.

While active in China, Lay has appeared in numerous films and dramas, winning the Best Supporting Actor award at the 4th China Youth Film Awards and the 25th Huading Awards for his role in "The Island 2: The Revolt."
