'Apartment 404' PD Addresses Concerns Regarding BLACKPINK Jennie's Use of Profanity
On February 29, the show's producing director PD Jung took to an interview to share more about behind-the-scenes of "Apartment 404."
In a video uploaded on tvN's official YouTube channel, PD Jung Cheol Min particularly opened his mouth about the alleged cussing incident made by Jennie. When MC JaeJae asked:
"Did Jennie really swear?"
PD Jung defended the idol and explained:
"This happened while playing a game. Jennie might have felt uncomfortable after filming. At that level, she could have asked for it to be edited out if it seemed like she was swearing, right? But she didn't.
It looked like she was swearing, didn't she? But it was fun. Don't worry. If you watch the broadcast, you will also think that it was fun."
In the same show, PD Jung also attested to his close friendship with Jennie and certified her well-rounded personality.
"She's a friend that I really like. I've been in contact with her ever since 'Village Survival: the Eight' was released.
Jennie's biggest charm is her innocence. She also takes good care of the staff around her as well."
