Chinese ONCEs Send Protest Trucks to JYP Entertainment for TWICE
On February 23, 2024, TWICE released their 13th Korean mini-album, "With YOU-th," with the lead single, "ONE SPARK."
Though the album and songs are well-loved by fans, "ONE SPARK" saw lackluster results on the charts. Fans believe that this is due to JYP Entertainment's lack of promotion and marketing for the comeback, causing outrage among ONCEs.

On March 2, 2024, a post titled "TWICE's Chinese fandom sends a truck to JYP" was shared on a popular South Korean online community forum. The original poster (OP) shared photos of what the truck is demanding from the company.
Chinese ONCEs used the truck to remind JYP Entertainment that TWICE is a top girl group, and demand that they should look at the fans' concerns and inquiries.

Additionally, they ask the company to invest in playlists and TikTok traffic. This will allow TWICE and the members to be exposed to more places, thus giving them more opportunities to raise their reputation.
They claimed that without TWICE, JYP Entertainment is like a hobo begging in the streets. This alludes to the fact that during TWICE's peak, they were topping the charts, swooping awards, selling thousands of albums, and embarking on numerous tours. They helped raise JYP Entertainment and earned them a massive profit.
In another statement, Chinese ONCEs slammed the group's stylists, saying that they should not allow TWICE to wear make-up, outfits, and hairstyles that do not show the members' strengths. They also stated that they should not allow album designs and creative planning that do not receive much attention.
Interstingly, the OP included a tweet from a Korean ONCE. It was revealed that JYP Entertainment did not run any ads on Twitter for TWICE's "ONE SPARK" comeback, so they shelled out money and did it themselves. The Korean ONCE asked people to retweet the tweet.
How Did K-Netz React to the Protest Truck?
Many agreed with the demands of the Chinese ONCEs. They noted that JYP Entertainment would be nothing without TWICE and wondered why the company was not promoting the group at all.
People commented that TWICE had earned them so much money, so it was unfair that they were not being properly marketed.

Some comments read:
- "Seriously, why does JYP not promote them at all?"
- "They are such b*tches for not investing into TWICE when they are earning the company so much money."
- "I didn't even know they had a comeback. I saw their song in the 'HOT' category, and I listened to it, and it was so good. JYP, promote them."
- "What a waste. Meanwhile, TWICE is still releasing songs."
- "TWICE earned them so much money with their tours..."
- "There were no promotions. I didn't even know the song was out."
