(G)I-DLE Shuhua Raises Brows for Horse Riding Amid Health Hiatus — Nevies Defend Idol

"Is Shuhua really sick?" On social media, the (G)I-DLE member drew mixed reactions to various sightings in Taiwan despite a hiatus due to health reasons.

In February, (G)I-DLE Shuhua halted her activities temporarily to recover her health, following the advice of the medical staff. She then stopped promoting the group amid schedules for their release, "Super Lady," and decided to return to her hometown in Taiwan to recuperate there.

(G)I-DLE Shuhua Raises Skepticism About Her Health Issues After Recent Sightings

On March 13, Shuhua's recent sightings in Taiwan spread to online communities and led to controversy.

In the report, Shuhua was spotted at a department store in Taiwan and even a witness said, "She's so pretty."

After the sightings at the department store, Shuhua continued to be spotted in various places such as night markets, airplanes, and amusement parks, and she was even caught horseback riding, despite her poor health.

That's why when internet users updated on Shuhua's recent status, numerous internet users expressed their anger that she was having the "time of her life" while the rest of her members are working so hard, not to mention that fans are waiting for her return yet she hasn't communicated with them since her hiatus.

While the idol is resting, (G)I-DLE members also experiencing health problems, such as Minnie and Yuqi, continue their performances without Shuhua, leading to a war of words among fans.

There are internet users who negatively view the sightings of Shuhua, and pointed out:

  • "Is Shuhua really sick? She had stopped promotions for their full album and decided to go back home to rest, but it looks like she's able to hang out just fine. The other members all have to take quick IV shots when they are sick to continue promotions, doesn't she feel sorry for them? Seriously where is the same?"
  • "Is being sick an excuse?"
  • "Can you take a good rest and return if you are walking around like that?"
  • "She's a nuisance to other members."

On the other hand, fans who support Shuhua refuted the claims, saying:

  • "You don't just stay at home all day just because you're sick."
  • "She can go out even when she's still recovering her condition. "
  • "Are you making fun of her daily life?"
  • "Do you expect her to be bedridden?"

Meanwhile, (G)I-DLE, which Shuhua belongs to, made a comeback in late January with the release of their second full-length album, "2," but a series of health problems have raised issues.

Just before the comeback, Minnie and Yuqi complained of sudden fever symptoms and migraines and complained of poor condition, and the scheduled comeback press conference was canceled.

The two recovered their condition and continued their activities by appearing in scheduled music broadcast schedules and entertainment programs, but Shuhua's health problems broke out.

Eventually, her agency Cube Entertainment said, "Shuhua's received a medical opinion that she needed sufficient stability and rest."
