VLAST Releases Official Statement Declaring Legal Action Against Malicious Posts Made Towards PLAVE
On March 12, PLAVE's agency VLAST released an official statement, which warned legal action against malicious posts made towards virtual K-pop boy group PLAVE.
According to the statement, VLAST revealed that the agency is continuously scanning malicious comments online. This includes slanderous remarks, along with comments that are of defamatory nature, and groundless rumors directed towards the company.
VLAST then shared that the agency is now harnessing the cooperation of fans, who have been reporting harmful content. The agency revealed that around 20,000 cases were reported online and that roughly 30 criminal cases have been concluded punishable by law since November 2023.

The company disclosed that Mapo Police Station has gathered information and is in the process of identifying the culprits.
Furthermore, VLAST expressed its appreciation to fans and their efforts to report such malicious content or behavior. Read the full statement below:
"VLAST is consistently monitoring malicious comments made towards the members of PLAVE. These comments include harmful aspects such as slander, defamation, the unauthorized reveal of the artists' personal information, and the baseless hearsays regarding the company.
We would like to let you know that the matters reported by fans are being thoroughly reviewed, as these matters are to receive legal action without leniency.
The agency is taking legal action against malicious activities held online aimed at PLAVE. Our findings revealed that around 20,000 reported cases and proofs were discovered by VLAST and fans. There are also approximately 30 incidents deemed for trial since November 2023.
Legal procedures have also begun against people who have spread unsupported rumors about PLAVE and VLAST on platform X (Twitter).
Mapo Police Station, the agency handling the investigation, shared that IP addresses for all the filed cases were collected and that the process of identifying suspects has now started. We are only able to share this current information because of constraints.
A zero-tolerance policy will be implemented against the culprits, as well as prosecution. The agency will commit to carrying out all legal procedures, which would also include civil damages. This policy would also be applied to similar incidents in the future.
