Someone's older sister happened to be friends with the rumored girlfriend's older sister. In leaked messages, the girl's sister noted how Anton's friend has gone viral on South Korean social media platforms, and her following skyrocketed because of it.
They noted how people were convinced she was dating Anton but stated they were not. They are simply close friends.

The person who first broke the news also shared screenshots to prove that they are mutuals with Anton's close friend on social media, adding extra credibility to the statement.
Previously, the girl in the dating rumors with Anton released a statement on her Instagram. In her post, she stated that she was not dating Anton. Instead, they have been close friends ever since they were young.
She stated she shared the photo of them holding hands to commemorate Anton returning to New Jersey for the first time in years. In other photos of that day, the two are seen hanging out with a group of friends, with the girl stating that they did not hang out one-on-one at all.
With that, the news of Anton being in a relationship has been dispelled.

A photo circulated online on March 11, 2024, supposedly showing RIIZE member Anton on a date with his girlfriend while on vacation in New Jersey.
Although Anton's face was not seen in the picture, a Louis Vuitton bag is visible. This led people to believe that the male idol was indeed the person in the photo. This assumption was based on the fact that Anton was previously spotted with the same bag in both South Korea and Paris, reportedly gifted to him by the luxury fashion brand.
Because of that, people criticized Anton for dating during his rookie years, with some noting the group has been active for less than a year.
