aespa Confirmed to Release Soundtrack 'Die Trying' for 'Rebel Moon Part 2: The Scargiver'

Fans are hyped up for their new music!

On March 20, Rolling Stone released an exclusive report, disclosing that aespa has been selected to release a song for the upcoming movie "Rebel Moon Part 2: The Scargiver."

The project involves the movie's characters getting their own soundtracks, which will be from the extended play "Songs of the Rebellion." For example, aespa's soundtrack titled "Die Trying" will be inspired by the character Nemesis, played by actress Bae Doona.

Additionally, the song will involve the participation of Korean American producer Tokimonsta. The producer also offered a brief statement to Rolling Stone, expressing enthusiasm towards aespa's inclusion and related the character dynamics of Nemesis to the song.

"Being able to collaborate with K-pop act aespa was incredible, especially as a Korean American," Tokimonsta shared. "The heroic strength of Nemesis, which arose from the depths of tragedy and darkness, inspired my creative process on the track."

The quartet will also be joined by fellow artists Jessie Reyez, who will be releasing "Child of Fire," Kordell on "Revolution," Black Coffee on "Ode to Ancestors," alongside Tokischa and Tainy on "Jalo!" The album, "Songs of the Rebellion," is set to release on April 5.
