BTOB Changsub Tentatively Suspends Activities Due to Poor Throat Condition, Fantagio Releases Statement

On March 21, Fantagio released an official statement announcing the temporary halt of Changsub's activities.

According to the announcement, the agency shared that Changsub had visited the hospital for consultation due to a poor throat condition. Medical professionals then advised Changsub to refrain from singing which can lead to straining, resulting in the hiatus.

The agency disclosed that Changsub's future activities would be adjusted based on the recovery recommendations. However, all his activities except with the upcoming fan concert with BTOB. Fantagio then asked for fans' kind understanding regarding the situation.

"Hello. This is Fantagio.

We would like to inform everyone about the health status and future activities of Lee Changsub.

Lee Changsub visited the hospital for a medical checkup because of his throat's poor condition. At the end of the consultation, Changsub was advised to refrain from singing which can lead to strain his throat.

According to the recommendation of the doctor, the agency has adjusted the future schedule of Lee Changsub in order for him to recover, and this will be done except for BTOB's upcoming fan concert. We ask for your consideration since he may stop or postpone his other schedules.

This decision was ultimately concluded since the agency prioritizes the health of its artists, and so we ask for everyone's understanding.

We would like to express our sincerest apologies to the fans who must have been surprised by this abrupt announcement. We will do our best to provide support for Lee Changsub in his recovery, along with his resolve to continue his activities in good shape.

In other news, Changsub left his longtime agency Cube Entertainment on November 22, 2023, and signed an exclusive contract with Fantagio.
